The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a racy minerality as well as a fine and racy texture. It reveals notes of wild cassis, fairly ripe raspberry and more lightly blond tobacco, spices associated with a hint of meat juice, racy minerality and a very discreet hint of almond. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, good definition, gourmandize, nice juicy / pulpy fruit, freshness, nice racy minerality as well as some controlled power. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, raspberry and more slightly of fairly ripe blackberry associated with touches of tobacco, chocolate, toasted almond as well as a subtle hint of undergrowth and an imperceptible hint of roasted herbs / fresh cashews. Tannins are well developed.
