The nose is aromatic, offering some concentration and spice. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, violet and slightly cardamom combined with touches of bright wild berries, red berries and a hint of clove and a subtle hint of tea. The palate is balanced, juicy and reveals fruit, fleshiness, volume and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cherry, small fleshy/juicy red berries and more lightly violet combined with hints of blackcurrant as well as nuances of violet plum, lily, delicate hints of fresh blond tobacco and clove. The tannins are finely mellow. Good length. An imperceptible hint of mocha (in the background).
