The nose shows some power as well as a fine powdery quality. There are notes of ripe wild red berries, pepper and more slightly violet combined with delicate varietal touches, toast, cloves and a fine touch of almond and pepper. The palate is mineral and reveals juiciness, a fresh/acidic structure, good definition, some tension, precision, racy/almost iodine minerality, accuracy and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy cherry, crunchy red berries and more lightly of fresh flowers/cassis buds combined with fine nuances of infusion, clove and a discreet hint of spice.
