The nose is fruity and offers a small richness and gourmandize. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of ripe strawberry associated with small fine touches of Bourbon vanilla, liquorice stick as well as very fine hints of nutmeg and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a finesse of the grain, a small straightness and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy/ripe wild small berries and small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of flowers (cornflower, lily, a very discreet hint of iris) as well as very fine hints of tonka bean, vanilla and very fine hints of toasted, chocolate and toasted almond. Good length.
