The nose offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry and crushed cassis associated with small notes of ripe red fruits, Sichuan pepper, spices as well as a hint of toasted almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, fullness, juiciness as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and more slightly juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of juicy red berries and more fine touches of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a very discreet/imperceptible hint of coffee and almond (in the background). Tannins are slightly firm.
