On the nose there are notes of bright blackcurrant, pulpy strawberry and more slightly fleshy/juicy cherry combined with fine touches of lily, flowers as well as fine hints of zan, and a discreet touch of nutmeg. The palate offers freshness, juiciness, minerality, acidity, good definition, tension, concentration and a fine infused side (pressed wine). On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, blackberry and more slightly crushed raspberry combined with hints of violet, lily as well as hints of tonka bean, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of camphor. Good length. The tannins are discreetly powerful and pronounced.
