Château Grand Village 2023 – Bordeaux Blanc

A lovely, elegant, gourmand, frank and seductive nose at the same time. It expresses notes of kumquat, fresh/juicy quince and more slightly – sweet grapefruit, associated with fine touches of quenette, a subtle hint of honeysuckle and a very discreet subtle hint of flint. The palate is nicely conducted, elegant, tension, accuracy. It offers a certain richness, a discreet compact side currently, beautiful energy and just waiting to open up and reveal itself. We find notes of quince, juicy/fresh apricot and more slightly – kumquat, associated with touches of juicy/bright berries, quenette, discreet hints of fresh passion fruit, as well as subtle hints of fresh flowers/lemon blossoms, as well as discreet hints of flint and iodine. Good length and very nice tangy persistence. A subtle almost tannic hint in the aromatic and the structure in the finish/persistence. Suppleness, roundness, breadth, a certain juiciness and a crispy side. Very nice persistence and grain in the finish and a very nice quality of fat.
