Château Grand Village 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is beautifully built, precise, chalky and creamy, with a nice deepness. It needs to be decanted. There are notes of blackberry, fresh violet and graphene associated with touches of elegant-roasted red berries, hints of camphor, fresh spices, a hint of lily as well as a discreet hint of rose, nutmeg and licorice stick. The palate is beautifully built, supple, fresh, elegant, racy, beautifully textured and offers a creamy side, tension, deepness and density. It combines freshness, finesse and elegance, without excess. In mouth this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, fresh wild raspberry and small notes of fresh-roasted small red fruits associated with a touch of creamy small black fruits as well as an almost herbal hint, blond tobacco, cocoa, hints of tobacco and roasted almond. Tannins are mellow, suave, fresh and fine. Beautiful work on the good bitterness. Beautifully textured, sapid and saline wine.
