The nose is gourmand, racy and offers a slight richness as well as a slight elegance. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis and slight notes of wild strawberry combined with discreet touches of racy minerality / terroir, spices, subtle toasted touches (in the background), zan as well as an imperceptible touch of spices / flowers and gray pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave and offers a nice mineral frame, a good definition, gourmandise, harmony as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, crushed cassis and crushed fleshy strawberry combined with slight touches of berries, vanilla, slight toasted touches as well as subtle / discreet hints of dark chocolate and cardamom on the finish. Tannins are well-built. Currently the wine is a bit marked by the barrel, keep it in cellar until 2019/2020.
