The nose is reserved at first, but quite concentrated, with notes of tangy fruits (bigarreau
cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, morello cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry), then, we find
pleasant spicy and chocolatey aromas (liquorice, cumin, cardamom, a fine hint of vanilla, a
tangy touch of cocoa nibs and a bitter hint of dark chocolate). Then, the wine expresses
toasted notes (hazelnut, almond, toasted oak and fresh oak in the background), associated
with a beautiful freshness and elegant floral perfume (peony, violet, wild rose), as well as a
touch of chocolate morello cherry. The palate is fresh, tangy and refined, with notes of
acidulous fruits (blackcurrant, bird cherry with a good bitterness, as well as bigarreau cherry,
blueberry, morello cherry, raspberry, strawberry). The spicy and toasted flavors are pleasant
and elegant. Beautiful concentration, the finish is long, tangy, firm and fresh. Tannins are a
little grippy and solid, but fine and pleasant. Beautiful acidity and length. Savoury and refined persistence.
