On the nose, it is fruity and offers concentration, power on the fruit, a certain intensity as well as a fine grain and a certain richness. It reveals notes of fleshy/ripe blackcurrant, small wild black fruits, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of wild strawberry, small blue berries as well as fine hints of liquorish stick, fresh tobacco and a subtle hint of gray pepper. On the palate is fruity, balanced, offers freshness, a nice definition, a certain gourmandize as well as some concentration, a certain power and a fine/racy grain (limestone). The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant juicy/pulpy black berries, hints of violet plum as well as fine hints of zan, mocha, toasted and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). Good length. A nice texture of tannins and of subtle note of bitterness on the finishing length.
