The nose is elegant, racy and offers power and a very fine grain. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small black fruits and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touch of blackberry, violet, Cuben pepper as well as slight hints of graphite, spices, liquorice and discreet hints of mocha. The palate is fruity, mineral, precise, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of violet, racy minerality as well as very slight hints of tonka bean/cardamom, tea and spices. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very discreet hint of toasted almond on the finish.
