The nose is fruity, gourmand, well-built and offers a fine intensity, a fine elegance as well as concentration. It reveals notes of chocolate, spices, blueberry jam and crushed strawberry combined with slight notes of flowers, licorice, crushed raspberry, caramelized oak and chocolate. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, a fine acid frame, a fine freshness, a good structure, straightness and a fine suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis, juicy wild strawberry and fine touches of fleshy redcurrand associated with a hint of fleshy raspberry, caramelized oak, vanilla as well as an imperceptible hint of tonka bean and coffee. Tannins are fine and (very) slightly grainy. Good length. The finish is slightly powerful. There are a touch of dark chocolate and a touch of coffee on the persistence. (2019+)
