The nose is complex and dense. It expresses notes of fresh and dried black fruits (griotte, blackberry, black fig, black plum, dried blackcurrant), associated with a pronounced but elegant herbaceous hint (dried mint, rosemary, cherry leaf, tobacco), spices sweet (liquorice, cinnamon, nutmeg), as well as a metallic and leather touch. The palate is firm, powerful, but coated and refined. It expresses the flavors of black fruits (black fig, plum, blackberry), very ripe wild strawberry, dried strawberry, as well as cocoa, dried flowers (wildflowers, violet), sweet spices (cinnamon, licorice), cocoa and tobacco. The tannins are powerful and firm, but polished.
