Château Grand Jean 2020 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is spicy/peppery and offers a slight power as well as a certain intensity in its grain. There are notes of creamy boysenberry, crushed strawberry and small notes of fleshy cassis associated with touches of pepper as well as fine hints of tonka/toasted bean. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, a good definition, a certain juiciness, a slight freshness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of small, quite ripe wild red fruits associated with small touches of racy minerality as well as a fine hint of tonka bean. Tannins are supple. An easy-to-access wine.
