The nose is fruity and offers a slight richness/creaminess of fruit, slight hints of pepper, a discreet tightness of grain and good definition. The palate is mineral, with fruit, juiciness, suppleness, a little fullness, and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and small notes of pulpy cassis, combined with touches of violet, rose, red berries and a hint of star anise. Good length and good persistence with a nice bitterness work on the finish.
