The nose is elegant, racy, aromatic and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of blackberry, juicy/fleshy cassis and small notes of toasted bread associated with slight toasted touches, a hint of vanilla and a discreet hint of green cardamom. The mouth is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, gourmandise, a mineral frame, roundness, richness as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of fresh / juicy red fruits (raspberry, red berries) associated with small touches of flowers as well as subtle hints of licorice, toasted, tonka bean and very discreet hints of vanilla pod. Tannins are elegant, well-built and structuring.
