The nose is fresh, elegant and offers power, depth, race, density in elegance, complexity, purity as well as some airiness in its power. We find notes of wild blackcurrant, iodized/racy minerality and slight notes of pulpy blackberry associated with touches of strawberry, violet, hints of pepper, smoke as well as fine hints of sense of place. (local biotop), star anise/graphite and a discreet hint of toasted almond. The palate is fruity, balanced, nicely mineral and offers purity, brightness, juiciness, a lovely freshness, tension, roundness, a tangy structure, a certain width, brightness, accuracy, a lovely sapidity as well as delicacy in its power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, crunchy/tart raspberry and small notes of small pulpy/juicy blue fruits associated with touches of flowers, fresh/crunchy blue plum as well as fine hints of tonka bean, toasted and salty. The tannins are elegant, racy and sapid. Very nice persistence.
