The nose is fruity and reveals intensity, freshness and power. There are notes of fresh wild blackcurrant, wild blackberry and slightly blueberry combined with hints of pepper, strawberry, nutmeg, pulpy blue berries and a discreet hint of sediment/cypress. The palate is fruity, tight and offers minerality, tension, energy and a fine linear quality. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, raspberry and more lightly violet notes combined with hints of tonka bean, blond tobacco/sweet spice as well as fine hints of blue berries and a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background). The tannins are soft and well managed. Good length. Some small precision and fine freshness. Acidic persistence.
