It reveals notes of dry blackberry, dry strawberry and small notes of quite ripe cassis associated with small touches of blueberry, hints of cornflower, tobacco leaf and underwood. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, tension, a certain concentration as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cassis, dry blackberry, small notes of dry strawberry associated with small touches of quite ripe violet plum, liquorice stick, tobacco leaf, camphor, graphite and fine hints of underwood/mushroom. Good length. Tannins are supple.
