The nose is aromatic and offers power, a fine grain, intensity as well as concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small bright wild blue berries, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of violet, crushed raspberry as well as hints of vanilla, caramelization and a very discreet hint of green cardamom. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, gourmandize, tension, a beautiful definition as well as a fine creaminess, a fine freshness and a fleshy/ripe fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, raspberry, small notes of small pulpy/ripe blue berries associated with touches of cornflower, lily, chocolate, vanilla as well as fine hints of raspberry, cardamom, a subtle hint of tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of Brazilian pepper. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
