Château Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers clay mineral touch. There is a floral side, a certain breadth and a fine perfumed side. We perceive aromas of concentrated violet blackberry and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of concentrated small red fruits as well as fine hints of cornflower, blond tobacco, a hint of nutmeg and bergamot. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral and offers balance and a pleasant freshness. A fine floral side, almost sappy as guideline. There are notes of pulpy and juicy blackcurrant, purple plum and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of pulpy / juicy small red fruits as well as subtle touches of cornflower, plum blossom, a toasted hint, chocolate, bergamot and a slight roasting hint. Good length. A fine structure of varietal hints in the background.
