Château Grand Abord 2021 – Graves

The nose reveals a fine concentration and freshness. There are notes of berries, pulpy blackcurrant, racy minerality and a hint of violet combined with a touch of crushed red berries, a hint of flowers and a hint of almost roasted fruit, lily and discrete zaniness. The palate offers minerality, freshness, some tension and a certain fleshiness of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, fresh cherry and slightly blackcurrant, combined with hints of fresh violet plum, racy minerality, as well as fine floral notes, a discreet hint of star anise in the background and a subtle hint of toastiness (in the background). Good length. The tannins are well managed and sapid.
