The nose is fresh, fruity, a fine richness of fruit. There are notes of pulpy strawberry, fleshy/ripe red berries and, more slightly, fresh wild blackberry combined with touches of blueberry, lily as well as delicate notes of camphor, bourbon vanilla and a hint of green cardamom. The palate is mineral, freshness, roundness, smoothness, finesse in its roundness, some airiness in its balance, a mineral backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, bright blackcurrant and more lightly blueberry combined with fine bourbon vanilla and a hint of green cardamom. A very discreet hint of camphor/bergamot in the background, some fluidity on the palate. The tannins are fresh and sapid.
