Château Gontet 2022 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

Château Gontet 2022 – Puisseguin Saint-Emilion

The nose is fresh, floral and offers spices as well as a fine sappy side and black pepper. There are notes of black berries, black pepper and spices associated with touches of camphor, laurel berries and a hint of black tea. THE palate is fruity with juiciness, smoothness, a mineral framework with tension and a certain verticality. We have notes of pulpy cherry, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant and small, fairly ripe red berries associated with touches of violet, white tobacco, camphor as well as a hint of vanilla. Tannins are sappy and sapid. Good length.
