The nose is fruity, slightly powerful and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe red fruits and slight touches of crushed / very ripe blueberry combined with slight touches of undergrowth, liquorice as well as discreet hints of Ceylon tea, a very discreet hint of balsamic and an imperceptible touch of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a small minerality, a (very) slightly tight structure, a good finesse of the grain, minerality as well as a bit aerial sensation / a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of very ripe/fleshy blackberry and very ripe small fruits associated with small touches of very ripe raspberry /red berries, blueberry, undergrowth as well as discreet hints of mushrooms / undergrowth, sweet spices and an imperceptible touch of cardamom / pepper. There are very discreet hints of tonka bean as well as an almost saline hint on the finish. Tannins are fine and discreetly tight/dry.
