Château Godeau 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

Château Godeau 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is spicy, toasted and offers a certain gourmandise and a fine straightness. It expresses notes of blackberry, tonka bean, vanilla and more slightly – crushed strawberry associated with touches of small pulpy blue fruits as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, and offers minerality, freshness, tension, juiciness, and a tangy structure. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy raspberry and more slightly – cornflower associated with touches of fresh/pulpy cherry, as well as fine roasted hints and hints of sweet blond tobacco in the background. The tannins are sapid and gourmand. A good job on the good bitters on the finish/persistence. Freshness.
