The nose is fruity, racy and offers concentration and power. There are notes of blackberry, ripe wild strawberry, concentrated violet and a hint of lily, combined with fine touches of blue berries, a hint of Sichuan pepper, as well as a subtle touch of liquorice and a very discreet hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers roundness, nobility, good structure, concentration and finesse as well as darkness (but all in control). On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild blackberry noise, dense black berries and more slightly liquorice, combined with hints of ripe red berries, star anise, bergamot and fine mocha and toasted notes. Good length. Sapidity. Fine mellowness and sweetness/gourmandise on the finish.
