(60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot) A lovely, racy, frank nose offering depth, a little elegant austerity and precision. There are notes of violet, blackberry and small notes of wild raspberry, associated with touches of small fresh/brilliant black fruits, a hint of small wild red berries, sweet pepper, as well as a fine hint of arbutus and discreet hints of almost gray pepper. The palate is well-built, balanced, bewitching and offers suppleness, juiciness, gourmandise, a lovely coating fat / in elegance, an airy side and a mellow mid-palate. Nicely sapid, airy creaminess and a melodious side. Beautifully textured. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, creamy raspberry and small notes of creamy violet plum, combined with touches of small ripe/brilliant red fruits, a hint of rhubarb, as well as hints of star anise, graphene and a subtle, almost peony/sappy hint in the background. A subtle hint of almost blood orange that arrives on the finish. A lovely, fresh, airy, creamy, racy wine, all finesse and a lovely sense of detail.
