The nose is mineral, elegant and offers a very nice finesse in its grain, a certain power in delicacy, depth, subtlety in its complexity as well as a very nice freshness. It reveals notes of bright wild blackcurrant, violet and slight hints of small bright berries associated with touches of raspberry, small wild red fruits, hints of star anise, bergamot as well as discreet hints of toast/caramelization and a discreet hint of iodized gravel. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant, racy and offers juiciness, fullness, delicacy, a nice iodized side, a tangy frame, tension, a nice harmony, purity as well as a fresh grain, very fine, taut and airy. All in delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright/fresh black berries and slight hints of violet plum associated with hints of raspberry, hints of creamy/fresh blue berries, a subtle hint almost roasted , sappy (in the background). The tannins are harmonious and chalky. A very discreet hint of roast in the middle of the palate brings delicacy. Good length.
