The nose is aromatic and elegant. It reveals notes of toasted oak and ripe fruit associated with a hint of undergrowth, a slight hint of truffle as well as a few slight notes of blackberry (in the background). The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, racy and silky. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and black cherry associated with a hint of plum and licorice / chocolate on the finish. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length.
