The nose is elegant, deep and offers a flowery character, a certain power, a small intensity as well as complexity. It reveals notes of bright griotte cherry, bright raspberry and small notes of small crushed black fruits associated with touches of lily, nutmeg as well as fine hints of camphor, tobacco, chocolate, a vey discreet hint of toasted hazelnut and an imperceptible hint of saffron. The palate is fruity, elegant, beautifully built and offers delicacy, gourmandize, suavity, silkiness, delicacy and a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of lily associated with touches of bright cherry, crushed strawberry as well as hints of small blue fruits, cornflower, chocolate, tonka bean, fine hints of bourbon vanilla pod, cardamom and a very discreet hint of hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A beautiful gourmandize and a fine chew in the finish/persistence.
