The nose is aromatic and offers fine power/intensity, purity of fruit, deepness and definition. It reveals notes of boysen berry, small black fruits, small notes of fleshy bigarreau cherry associated with small touches of pulpy purple plum, violet, black olive, cardamom, as well as fine hints of thyme flowers, licorice, black tea, sense of place and a discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, harmony, gourmandize as well as tension, a beautiful purity of the fruit and a small aery side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant, small notes of fleshy/pulpy cherry bigarreau associated with small touches of pulpy/fresh violet plum, cornflower, small pulpy berries as well as fine spices, thyme/local copse, black olive and a discreet hint of pepper (in the background). Good length. Tannins are precise, structuring and well build. Good sapide and gourmande persistence. Very discreet hints of vanilla (in the background) and toasted hazelnut on the finish/persistence.
