Château German Marbuzet 2022 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is well-built, with a nicely stretched grain, precise, clear and racy. It reveals notes of small roasted-elegant red fruits, crushed cassis and small notes of crushed bigarreau cherry, associated with touches of cornflower, graphene and a hint of Madagascar pepper. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, elegant and precise. Mineral and gourmand, it presents a fresh, delicate texture, as well as a certain controlled power. In mouth this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, small bright red berries and more discreetly crushed cherry, associated with touches of tobacco, toast, a hint of mocha, fine iodine nuances and a touch of roasting. A wine offering minerality, energy and harmony, with a hint of saltiness on the finish.
