The nose is fresh, elegant, racy and offers complexity as well as a nice foral / noble varietal work. It reveals notes of pulpy/fresh boysenberry, luscious/fresh blackcurrant and slight notes of bigarreau cherry associated with touches of blueberry, fresh violet as well as a hint almost sense of place/fresh bay leaf, fresh pepper and sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a nice freshness, juiciness, a tangy structure, good definition, nice energy, tanginess as well as a certain accuracy and elegance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/tangy blackberry, violet and slight notes of crunchy cherry associated with touches of sense of place, fresh/crunchy berries, hints of fresh nutmeg, bergamot as well as with a subtle hint of star anise and fresh almond. Good length. A nice fresh and racy wine.
