On the nose it offers intensity, concentration, fruit as well as a flowery character. It reveals notes of juicy blackberry, lily and more slightly crushed cassis associated with touches of iris, pulpy / fairly ripe wild strawberries as well as fine hints of zan, spices, Cuben pepper and a subtle hint of limestone / saline mineality. On the palate it is fruity and offers a tangy structure, minerality, a fine tension, precision, intensity as well as a fine straightness. The wine expresses notes of juicy / tangy cassis, small berries and more slightly iris, rose associated with touches of violet, tangy red berries as well as discreet hints of fresh nutmeg and a subtle varietal hint. The tannins are very finely mellow and well-rounded. Good length.
