The nose is aromatic and offers a small freshness as well as a small richness/intensity. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, violet and small notes of fresh/juicy red fruits associated with a touch of lilac, cassis, fine hints of toasted, spices as well as a discreet hint of Cuben pepper and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a small juiciness, tension, a beautiful finesse of the grain, harmony, a finely creamy texture as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh raspberry and small notes of juicy/fresh cherry associated with small touches of juicy/fresh cassis as well as hints of violet, lilac as well as subtle hints of sweet spices, toasted and a very discreet hint of ripe almond (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very fine chew on the persistence.
