The nose is elegant, fruity and offers power, a fine grain and harmony. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of small wild blue fruits associated with fine touches of ripe strawberry, violet, Sichuan pepper as well as discreet hints of camphor, spices and a subtle hint of nutmeg (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, finesse, tension, straightness as well as a juicy/finely acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy wild raspberry associated with touches of fleshy/juicy blueberry as well as fine hints of toasted, chocolate, caramelization and a subtle hint of nutmeg. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
