Château Garreau – XO – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is aromatic and offers power. It reveals fine notes of Zante currant, dried orange and small notes of sandalwood, rose and fine / discreet hints of white pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, a small tension, finesse, a very fine grain as well as roundness. On the palate, this Armagnac expresses notes of Zante currant, candied orange zest and small notes of dried lemon zest associated with small / fine touches of caramelization as well as discreet hints of coffee, gray pepper and dried rose / flowers. Good length. The finish is a bit powerful.
