The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals some power, fine grain, freshness, depth and complexity. There are notes of boysenberry, blueberry and slightly more fleshy strawberry/blackberry combined with hints of red berries/charred/acidic berries, fine hints of fresh flowers, sweet spices, a hint of vanilla and a subtle hint of serenity and fresh black pepper. The palate is mineral and offers freshness, tension, accuracy, a fine crispness, juiciness, a nice definition, volume, a certain complexity and a nice energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, fresh/juicy cherry and more lightly violet combined with hints of fresh blue berries, fresh blackberry, fine zan, sweet spice, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of black tea/almost herbs, a subtle hint of vanilla bean and an imperceptible hint of tonka bean in the background. Good length.
