Château Franc La Rose 2022 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and fresh and offers a certain power and intensity. It expresses notes of boysenberry, small ripe/fresh black fruits and more lightly – roasted raspberry associated with touches of violet, cornflower as well as hints of cubeb pepper, and a subtle hint of nail d clove. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, energy. It expresses notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, juicy/pulp blackcurrant and more lightly – cornflower associated with touches of small, bright red fruits as well as hints of lily, tonka bean, cardamom and a hint of clove. A very discreet hint of fresh varietal in the background.
