On the nose, aromatic, powerful and subtly intense. It reveals notes of bursting wild blackberry, cardamom and hints of pulpy berries associated with touches of crushed strawberry, violet, fine points of sweet blond tobacco, subtle caramelization and a very discreet waft of hazelnut. On the palate it is fruity with juiciness, freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandize, fullness, controlled richness, and an acidic structure. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant, hints of vibrant raspberry associated with touches of blueberry, lily, blond tobacco, fine tonka bean, black tea and a discreet hint of hazelnut. The tannins are precise and mellow. Good length.
