The nose is aromatic and offers a fine grain, a fine intensity as well as a small power. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small black berries and small notes of black pepper associated with fine touches of small wild fruits, spices, violet/iris as well as a subtle hint of toasted/tonka bean. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandize, an acidulous frame, roundness, suavity as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of juicy small berries associated with fine touches of cherry, flowers/violet, spices as well as fine hints of green pepper, tonka bean and very discreet hints of coffee (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
