The nose is tight. It reveals notes of cassis, Sichuan pepper and more slightly boysenberry associated with touches of crunchy strawberry, toasted oak and nutmeg. The palate is fresh, fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of raspberry, a subtle hint of juicy/ripe cherry as well as hint of zan, chocolate and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). Good length. Fine gourmandize on the finish.
