The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic and expressive, with distinct notes of blackcurrant leaf and pine needles on the first nose, which bring freshness and not a green vegetable-like hint. We also find aromas of blackcurrant, tart raspberry, strawberry, bigarreau cherry and redcurrant, associated with a touch of voilette and rose petals. The palate is fresh and juicy, fruity and slightly bitter (good bitterness of bird cherry). It also expresses flavors of blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, cranberries in the background and redcurrants, as well as blackcurrant leaf and tea leaf in the background. The finish is quite persistent, chiseled and finely tight, on notes of tangy black fruits (bird cherry, blackcurrant) and a good bitterness. Tannins are fine, slightly grippy on the finish, wrapped in a lovely salivating acidity.
