The nose is fruity and offers some concentration, juiciness and fleshiness of the fruit. There are notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright redcurrant and more slightly pulpy wild blackcurrant combined with fine hints of liquorice stick, lily, nutmeg and a hint of plum/black tea. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, fullness, a certain suavity, precision, a little tension, freshness and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/flavoured blackcurrant, pulpy/juicy cherry and more lightly lilac/cherry blossom combined with hints of bright red berries as well as discreet hints of green cardamom, toasted/dried almond, a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco and a discreet hint of bergamot. The tannins are finely mellow. A little chewiness on the finish/persistence.
