The nose is gourmand, well-built and offers a certain aromatic purity. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, fleshy raspberry, small notes of bourbon vanilla associated with touches of small bright red fruits, small fruits as well as fine hints of cornflower, liquorice, a discreet hint of black tea and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a beautiful definition of the fruit, fullness as well as gourmandize, suavity and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy raspberry, small notes of cherry associated with touches of juicy/bright blueberry, lilac as well as hints of liquorice, black tea and discreet hints of bourbon vanilla. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
