The nose offers a fine richness, a fine freshness and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of very ripe small red fruits associated with fine touches of underwood, toasted, caramelization, cardamom and a subtle hint of chocolate/sugared mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh and offers suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, ripe/juicy blackberry and small notes of small ripe red fruits (wild strawberry, small berries) associated with fine touches of underwood, toasted, toasted hazelnut as well as a hint of tonka bean. Tannins are structuring and well-built. Good length. A small chew on the finish/persistence.
