The nose is fruity and powerful. It reveals notes of red cherry, sour cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with subtle hints of cassis, violet, Cuben pepper as well as a very discreet hint of thyme and roasted (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, straight and offers suavity, juiciness, precision as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy ripe redcurrants, juicy cherry, juicy sour cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with slight touches of licorice / Zan as well as slight hints of cocoa / tonka bean, discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of violet / Sichuan pepper. Tannins are fine and firm. Good length. There are a hint of espresso and an imperceptible hint of almond on the finish / persistence.
