The nose is aromatic and offers concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, wild blackberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of ripe strawberry, liquorice stick as well as hints of Cuben pepper and a fine hint of mocha. The palate is fresh, fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, suavity, a fine juicy/mineral frame, gourmandize as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crushed blackberry and more slightly very ripe red fruits associated with fine hints of liquorice, tonka bean/chocolate, toasted as well as very discreet hints of cardamom and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg.
